Lisa & Joe Wedding day in Nashville TN

Lisa & Joe

How they met
Lisa and Joe met while attending the same church where Joe is a youth pastor and Lisa is part of the worship team. Remaining friends for over a year before Joe finally asked Lisa out! Their first date consisted of going out to Agatina’s (an amazing Italian restaurant) for dinner and then attending a Christian worship concert.

The Proposal
Two years later while visiting New York City at Christmas time, Joe proposed right in front of the tree at Rockefeller center, a dream come true for Lisa , and she said it was absolutely perfect! Christmas has always been their favorite holiday and they knew right then without a doubt they would start planning for a Christmas winter wedding.

Their Big Day
On their wedding day, December 21st, 2019, we woke up to the ground and trees beautifully covered in fresh snow. Something so beautiful about winter weddings in upstate NY when the weather cooperates! Lisa got ready in the bridal suite located right at the venue upstairs, while Joe got ready in the Groom’s suite downstairs. Having both Lisa and Joe getting ready at Pomona Farms was such a blessing to not have to travel in the snow, plus gave us lots of opportunities for pictures.

The Ceremony
Lisa and Joe both agreed go the traditional route of not doing a first look, when Lisa walked down the aisle, it was apparent to everyone there that this is true love with God in the center. The Pastor of their church where they had met 4 years earlier, preformed their ceremony in the early evening. We knew the daylight would not be lasting much longer so as soon as they had their first kiss we headed outside.

Can you say a gift from God blessing this marriage? The colors in the sky could not have been more beautiful! Each step we took the sun was setting faster and faster, as we hurried to capture these images before heading back in to get warm.

The Reception
This was such a beautiful party! I love seeing the families become one and hearing the stories from their friends during speeches. I have gotten to know Lisa and Joe quite a bit in the year before their wedding, with capturing their engagement session, to helping them in the planning process, and I can certainly say they have touched my heart. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Rosato and I looking forward keeping in touch throughout the years to come.
